How do I pay my insurance bill?
  • Carnegie EZ Pay - Automatic monthly EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) withdrawls. Sign up now.
  • Carnegie EZ Pay Online - Pay via Electronic Check or Credit Card. Log in from the Insured tab on our Home Page
    then select "Make a Payment" to process a one time payment.
    Electronic Check Payment Please have your Bank Account and ABA Routing Numbers available.
    Credit Card Payment Please have your Discover, MasterCard, or Visa credit card accessible for your account number, expiration date, and security code.
  • Carnegie EZ Pay by Phone - Please call us at (800) 233-2442 to pay by electronic check.
    Be sure to have your Bank Account and ABA Routing Numbers available.
  • Check or Money Order – Please make your payment payable to CGIA and mail to:

How do I sign up for Carnegie EZ PAY?
Fill out our EFT Form and fax it to 877-637-2401 or mail it to the address above, along with a voided check, to have each of your monthly payments automatically deducted from your account.

What are your office hours?
Carnegie’s operating hours are:
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PT
Monday through Friday
(Excluding U.S. Holidays)

What if I miss a payment or my payment is late?
Your policy may be canceled for non-payment. If this occurs, you may be eligible to reinstate your policy. You can make a payment via electronic check or you can mail* your payment to our office at the address listed above. Payments made on canceled policies are subject to review and approval by Carnegie before consideration of reinstatement.

I need an auto club service (locksmith, tow, etc). Who do I call?
If you have an active membership in one of our motor clubs, please call (877) 422-7634. Please have your policy number and producer code available along with your plan type (B-Basic or D-Premier). This information can be found on your motor club contract.

I need to report a claim, who do I call?
Claims can be reported by calling:

  • Platinum Claims Services at (888) 607-2879 for:
    American Modern (AM*)
    BIC Roadgard (BB*)
    BIC Signature (BH*)
    Affirmative (AF*)

  • David Morse and Associates at (800) 516-6998 for:
    Hudson Insurance (HC*, HU*, HG*)

  • Meritplan Renters Insurance at (888) 768-2096 (RI*)

  • Century National Insurance Company at (800) 733-1980 (BA*)
*You can find your policy prefix on your Declarations Page or your Insurance Identification Card.

I need new I.D. cards. How do I get them?
You may contact your broker or our Customer Service Department for a copy of your I.D. Card.  Also you may Log In to your account from the Insured tab on our web site, select the View Policy History option, then select to 'View' the most recent Transaction containing the text "DECLARATION page / ID cards ". A PDF document should be displayed by your browser and you can print the ID Cards page from there. The PDF document requires that you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin installed in your browser. If you don't already have the Reader you can click on the Get Acrobat Reader image in the lower left hand corner of the Policy Transaction History web page.

Can I add or remove coverage in the middle of my policy term?
Yes. Coverages can be changed at any time during the term. Requests to change coverage must be submitted in writing to either Carnegie or your broker. Keep in mind that some changes will affect the price you pay for insurance, so your premium may change.

How do I cancel my insurance policy?
Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Contact your broker, mail* us directly or fax your request to 877-637-2401.
The request should include the insured’s name, policy number, and future effective date of cancellation.

How do I change my billing address?
Changes to your billing address can be made through your broker. You may mail* us directly or fax a written request to 877-637-2401.
